It’s been a couple of weeks since we launched the newly designed DateAGolfer.com and your feedback has been greatly appreciated. The vast majority of our members have been extremely pleased with the new design and changes that we have made.

One thing that has been a major thorn in our side since we launched the original and now with the new site has been spammers gaining access to the site. This is something we have struggled with from the day we launched the site back in 2005. Well, we have some great news!

We have implemented some new changes with our software that should effectively eliminate this problem. With this in mind, we have still left the “Ban Member” feature so that any member can ban another member who they feel is not using the website appropriately. We are confident that with our new filtering software and the help of our members to ban spammers, that we will completely eradicate this problem. Thank you for your patience as we worked through this issue.

Please let us know of any other changes you would like to see on the site. We consider the new site a work in progress and while we are elated with how it has turned out so far, we want to make sure that we can offer the absolute best online dating website for golfers in the world.

Finally, we are committed to expanding and gaining exposure over the coming months. Gary is attending the 2008 Golf Fest at Chelsea Piers in New York City tomorrow and we have some other events and ideas planned over the coming months to increase awareness and ultimately increase our membership base.
