I am an honest, loyal and devoted father of three terrific sons, who has found himself single again for the past ten years. I have long since left my past behind, and am focused squarely on the future. I recently retired, and am looking to connect with a special lady who shares my philosophy and values - someone with whom I can enjoy the next phase of my life. I am a pretty easy going guy. My interests include music, travel, cooking, and just about any kind of sports – especially golf, which I confess that I will play every chance that I get. But I can also be very happy going for a walk, or a drive through the country side, seeing a movie, going out to dinner, or just sitting somewhere quiet and having a meaningful conversation. In short, I can be happy doing just about anything, provided it is with the right person.

What I am looking for at this point in my life is a quality companion - someone who is easy going, happy, and comfortable with her life. It is important to me that you are ready to share everyday life experiences with me, and that we can have some fun together without any pressure of unrealistic expectations. I am not looking for perfection – I don’t believe that exists. Nor am I necessarily concerned if we don’t share exactly the same interests. In fact, I believe that learning about new interests from a special friend can be very rewarding. Characteristics that I value in a partner include honesty, integrity, trust, respect and a sense of humour. I believe that a relationship needs to be balanced in order to thrive, and that both of us have to be equal partners in order to be happy together. For me it is imperative that we be completely open with one another, so that we always know where we stand, and so there will be no unexpected “surprises”. I love being together with someone special. But I also acknowledge that we both need our own space, and time to be on our own. I believe that we must leave the past behind, if we are to enjoy the future.
