I am a very active, athletic, former TV newscaster-turned-public relations professional who likes to have fun and take care of the people I love. I grew up in the NYC suburbs in an Ivy League-type world and spent a lot of time in “the city” so I have a passion for all the arts, intellectual vibrancy and diverse cultures. I have chosen to live in Texas my entire adult life (hmmmm, I still feel like a kid most days) because I like the fun-loving lifestyle and attitude -- as well as the sunny weather -- in this part of the country. I value being a blend of both cultures. I love to play golf and tennis, ski, mountain bike and road cycle, and am learning to surf! I like almost all types of live music, especially Texas country, western swing and singer-songwriter stuff, but a night at the symphony or opera dressed up is a blast, too. I also travel often – from weekend road trips to longer adventures in the United States and abroad. I always have points/miles in my numerous airline accounts for last-minute jaunts when the spirit strikes me or a friend suggests that we take off or three feet of snow have fallen in a one-week period in the Rockies! But sometimes it doesn’t get any better than hanging around home with family, friends and the dogs, doing things as simple as cooking together and drinking red wine or watching DVDs – especially with a wood-burning fire.
