I love golf. Been playing for 2 years and carry a 17 hcp. First round I ever played was at Pebble Beach and been hooked ever since. I enjoy being around people that are comfortable with themselves and not driven by meeting quotas and deadlines. I've traveled almost all over the world and visited 48 states and have found that nothing can replace home. At 6' 1" and 230 lbs Friends would describe as an affable linebacker who can be most intimidating if he had a mean streak in his body. I enjoy reading, blogging, traveling and gardening. I also enjoy skiing though I haven't been in over 3 years. I prefer cats to dogs but enjoy all animals. Children of all ages seem drawn to me and I've volunteered as a mentor for the past 8 years and substitute taught 5th grade for a semester.
