News Alert: lol ... headed to the US Open in San Diego on Thursday June 12th. I have volunteered for a USO fund raising booth. I get half the day to watch and work half the day. Update: It was great fun!! How exciting. A quick summary about me ... I have one son that is 19 who lives with his mom and is going to college. I have had a very successful 27-year career as an aerospace engineer all at the same company; and I am now a department manager at the same company. There is always no end to the work there it seems, but I do balance work and life well and have weekends and every other Friday available for non-work activities. Weekday lunch times and nights are also a possibility for getting together. I travel occasionally for work, usually to a government facility, in various parts of the country. About me ... I am friendly, respectful, kind, loving, thoughtful, caring, intelligent, honest, easy-going and have a good sense of humor. I am upfront and don’t play mind games. I am affectionate, sensual and sexual. I was into a lot of various competitive sports as a child and through college and then played adult ice hockey in the 80’s, so I tend to like competition, whether it is sports or board games or card games, etc. either participating or watching. I am not in athletic shape anymore, not as quick as I used to be :) but I have recently committed to myself to get back into shape, doing great so far, so I can enjoy participating in more of those activities again. I like to be entertained and have fun, so I like movies, plays, travel, sightseeing, sporting events, concerts, etc. I like photography and would like to do more of that in the future. If you are patient, you can teach me how to dance. I love all kinds of music; from classical to Green Day to Jazz to classical Rock 'n Roll. I love to travel to new places and would like to see Europe. I like sightseeing and people watching and just having fun in general. About education ... was born in Phoenix, AZ and graduated in top 1% of High School class. I then graduated from Arizona State University with a Bachelors degree in Aerospace Engineering in 1980. I moved to California in January 1981 and have taken various higher education courses, workshops, etc. over the last 25 years. About religion ... When I was a child we did not go to services except on holidays. In college I was more active, but in general I usually only go to services on holidays, if at all. I am a Christian and when I have gone I have gone mostly to Lutheran services. About politics ... I tend to lean towards conservative views (just right of center, definitely not far right) and the Republican party. However, I think for myself and I am not active in politics or follow it very closely. I have more I can share about me of course. If you are interested, let me know.
