I'm a former golf teaching pro. that gave up teaching for a more stable career path. I unfortunately had to choose with my head instead of following my heart... Sometimes I wonder if I made the right decision. Golf has been my love in life for the last 6 years. The game has taught me so much about myself and about life. You"re going to have good days and bad days practicing and playing. It's not how you handle your good days, but how you handle the bad days that determine if you will get better. I think you can say the same about the game of life. I have friends that play but are not very serious about improving. They rarely make it past 9 holes or we get kicked off the course due to they're drunken behavior. I've gotten tired of paying for a full round and having my buddies convince me to head to the bar after a few holes because of their short attention span. I usually play at random public courses and play with strangers or a few of my former students that have kept in touch. I'm here in hopes of making some new friends to play with. I can play with anyone, but I prefer laid back people with a good sense of humor. Skill level means nothing to me, good company does...
